This is our lonely tulip. Just by the fence and at the back of the driveway.

Last night I ran sound for an awards banquet at the Kellogg Center put on by SBAM (Small Business Association of Michigan,) of which Governer Granholm was the keynote speaker. In the last couple days I’ve also been paid to eat three very nice meals and down a couple rum & cokes (of course, there was other stuff I had to do on those shifts.) So far this has turned out to be pretty cool.

My brother Dave took this picture while he was in Thailand getting fitted for some suits… Yeah, I dunno… I guess they make good suits in Thailand.

Man, now I understand how people (Noel) can post three or four times a day. This is way easier than the half-cocked site that I drew up. Of course, getting it to work right takes about as long as making your own.

I was at the Kellogg center last night setting up for a SBAM awards thing with 321dsevents. I’ll be back there in a little over an hour for the actual event. It’s really exciting to work on stuff that has tangible results. I wish my day job was like that.

Feeling: Exhausted

So, what do I do now? Apparently it’ll be a couple more weeks ’til I know about the webhosting job. Until then I’ve started doing some work with an event production company and of course, still doing the networking stuff. I guess I just have no idea what’s going on so I’m exploring any options I can.

Tara had to quit her job because they cut her hours way down, which, of course sucks. It’s opening up some other opportunities for her though, which is cool.

I’m seriously looking at a van that a guy I know has up for sale, it seems like this has already happened a couple times though, so I don’t have my hopes up. The end.

Wow, so I do this much too often, but this time I swear, the site is way better than it used to be.

The old stuff on FE just plain didn’t get used much, so here we are, proper blog style. There’s some interesting features on here, like multiple people being able to post, there’s comments now and all the usual bloggy stuff. I’m pretty happy with it, though, I’ve touched the theme stuff very little so far. Everything looks good so far. Prepare for another post very soon with updates about things that matter a whole lot more than my stupid website design.
