See Matt, that’s the beauty of it, it is just a hard drive with video outs. To “jimmy” something together you’d basically need a laptop. If you can buy a laptop the size of a laptop drive that has 80gb of space then you’re right, it would be better to “jimmy.”

What it comes down to is, if you had $260 to spend, would you spend it on 60 “no dog poop” signs or would you rather spend it on a tiny multimedia device like the one shown above?

i would almost think you could jimmy something together cheaper
than that. all it seems to be is a hard drive w/ video outs.
cool, but way to expensive for what it is.

I don’t mean to be mean, that just doesn’t make sense. Here’s a response to what I think you were saying:

It’s definately made for different applications than the Archos. There’s no video input for recording, and obviously no screen built into the device, plus no battery power, just external.

I am salivating. With pleasure. That’s super hot. I don’t see the screen though. I feel as almost this
