Read about our adventure at Andy’s or Tara’s blog.

Tara and I ventured away once or twice while doing the LT thing, here’s a couple pictures…

Ok, so, again with the new site setup. I just had an issue with how the other one was coded. Here’s this one, it’s real close to how I want it. I need to somehow deny myself access to changing this.
As I was reading Hans’ blog I came upon this other blogger’s thoughts that Hans referenced. Pretty interesting stuff, I guess I hadn’t really thought of the contrasts.
Well, Tara and I made it back yesterday. The trip back for the most part was uneventful, but there was a bit of a mix-up around Columbus due to a misunderstanding about how the highways intersect and also an unexpected triathlon.
I start my new and improved position at LCS next Monday. I’ve begun preparing already, today I was in and did a bit of sorting in the office. We got some tool chests to hold parts and things so that the office doesn’t get cluttered with debris every time a machine is brought in. Overall I’m looking forward to the new position and also a bit anxious because it seems like there are a lot of new responsibilities. I look forward to learning about the unknown aspects.
Tim Haring is speaking at the session today about honoring and respecting authorities in your life. I haven’t actively thought about this in what seems like a long time. It’s not like I don’t respect my authorities, I just don’t go out of my way to make them that much more happy with what I do and to make their job that much easier.
So I guess this is a post for myself to remind myself of the importance of this issue.
