We made it in about 45 minutes ago, everything is groovy, video post to follow in a while.

2:23AM – Passing though Atlanta, GA now, no incidents and probably about 9 and a half hours to go. Merry Christmas.

Well, 8:37pm and we’re 115 miles from Knoxville. We stopped for dinner but most of the places had stopped serving at 6, so we ended up going to Papa John’s. It was good.

More later of course.

Headed down to Florida, the trip is going well, we’re not quite to Dayton yet and we’ll be driving through the night. Joe is at the wheel now and we’re watching “The Usual Suspects.” My cellphone is once again proving itself highly useful and allowing me access to the internet.

So, here we are on 75 going through Ohio, 23 miles from Dayton and only about 15 hours to go. More info to follow.

I went out to Christ Community Church yesterday and was checking out their lighting setup. It’s kindof weird, I haven’t seen a microplex system since my days at what was formerly known as DCC. Anyway, microplex addressing is pretty strange and I was lucky that I had my phone/oracle with me.

We’re headed to Florida in the morning and Tara’s getting really excited and running about the house in a fit of delight trying to get everything ready for people who will be looking in on the place while we’re gone. It’ll be nice to get out of town for a bit. That’s all, but I’ll be back probably while I’m on the road to give ya’ll an update on the goings on.
